Kris McCaddon
Kris McCaddon is an American musician. He was the second guitarist for the metalcore band Society's Finest and lead guitarist for Demon Hunter. He was also the vocalist for the bands Embodyment and The Famine. Since McCaddon left the Famine in 2010, he has not been active in the music industry as a recording or performing artist. History McCaddon's career started in 1994 when he joined the band Embodyment. They released their debut album, ''Embrace the Eternal'', in 1998; it featured guest vocals by Living Sacrifice vocalist Bruce Fitzhugh. ''Embrace the Eternal'' would later be re-released by their record label, Solid State Records. He left the band in 2000 before recording their second album, ''The Narrow Scope of Things''. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Ethan Luck
Ethan John Luck is an American musician, producer, multi-instrumentalist and photographer who has played in several bands, most prominently, the ska band The O.C. Supertones, Demon Hunter, Kings of Leon, Morgan Wade, and pop punk band Relient K. He has played on albums for Kutless, Roper, Nikki Clan and Last Tuesday. Background Luck and fellow Supertones alumnus Daniel Spencer ran Rebel Waltz Recording Co., a recording studio based in Franklin, Tennessee. Artists that recorded there included Flatfoot 56, August Burns Red, The Send, The Lonely Hearts and many others. Luck and Spencer also had a short-lived, Nashville-based punk band called My Red Hot Nightmare. Luck continues his love of recording and engineered and produced Supertones singer Matt Morginsky's first solo record. ''Demon Hunter'' is the debut studio album by American Christian metal band Demon Hunter. It was released on Solid State Records on October 22, 2002. Recording The album was recorded in Drop C tuning. All of Demon Hunter's subsequent releases would be dropped even lower to Drop B. Industrial vocal elements are also featured in various songs. Touring and promotion Demon Hunter joined Extol on tour in the summer of 2003. Demon Hunter's material first appeared on ''This Is Solid State Vol. 3'' in February 2002, which included a demo recording of the band's song "Through the Black". "Through the Black" was later re-recorded for Demon Hunter's self-titled album. Soul Embraced
Soul Embraced is an American Christian melodic death metal band from Little Rock, Arkansas. It was originally a side project for Rocky Gray and David Sroczynski. History Originally a side project of drummer David Sroczynski and William "Rocky" Gray from Shredded Corpse formed in 1997, the band dissolved after creating one song for a metal compilation in 1998. Gray reformed the band with fellow Living Sacrifice member Lance Garvin (drums) and his brother in-law Chad Moore (vocals). When Gray and Garvin weren't busy with Living Sacrifice, they would hammer away with Charlie T. West at making material for their death metal side project. Demon Hunter is an American Christian metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed by brothers Don Clark and Ryan Clark in 2000. Ryan is the band's only remaining original member, as Don left in 2009. As of the 2010s, the band has sold over 600,000 albums. Training For Utopia
Training for Utopia, also stylized as TFU, is an American metalcore band, initially active from 1996 to 2000. History The band first signed with Tooth & Nail Records and was later moved to Solid State Records, the Tooth & Nail imprint that promotes heavy Christian music. Training for Utopia subsequently became popular in the Christian metal scene during its active years, although the band actively tried to remove themselves from that label during their later years. Their brief existence included a tour with Zao and at the time the upcoming band Spitfire, as well as Warlord. After a temporary hiatus the band returned with their second full length ''Throwing a Wrench into the American Music Machine'', which has been noted as a shift away from the band's early metalcore sound, utilizing heavier use of electronics and sampling. Don Clark (musician)
Donald Christopher Clark (born May 30, 1975) is an American musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and bassist for the Christian metal band, Demon Hunter, which he co-founded with his brother, vocalist Ryan Clark. Before Demon Hunter, Clark was a former guitarist and co-founder of Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. He appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. History Before forming TFU and Demon Hunter, Clark was in a local band called Offset. Offset never recorded anything and was short lived. Clark then started Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler.
