Don Clark (musician)
Donald Christopher Clark (born May 30, 1975) is an American musician. He was the rhythm guitarist and bassist for the Christian metal band, Demon Hunter, which he co-founded with his brother, vocalist Ryan Clark. Before Demon Hunter, Clark was a former guitarist and co-founder of Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. He appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. History Before forming TFU and Demon Hunter, Clark was in a local band called Offset. Offset never recorded anything and was short lived. Clark then started Training for Utopia with Rob Dennler. Clark formed the band with the Rob Dennler (vocals), Steve Saxby (bass) and Morley Boyer (drums). Dennler left the band in 1996 and Ryan joined the band. Tooth & Nail Records is a record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle where it is today. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, '' XVIII'', would be released via their new label home at Rise Records. ''Storm the Gates of Hell'' is the fourth studio album by American Christian metal band Demon Hunter, released on November 6, 2007. It is the band's last album to feature Don Clark and Ethan Luck. Touring and promotion Demon Hunter embarked on the Stronger Than Hell Tour in promotion of the album. The summer tour began in May 2008 and included Living Sacrifice, Oh, Sleeper, The Famine, and Advent. The album's lead single, "Fading Away," along with the title track and "Carry Me Down," can be heard on thband's official MySpace A promotional site entitled "A Thread of Light" was made, where one can listen to samples of "Storm the Gates of Hell," "I Am You," and "Fiction Kingdom." The Triptych
''The Triptych'' is the third studio album by American Christian metal band Demon Hunter, released on October 25, 2005. Produced by Aaron Sprinkle ( Emery, Fair) and mixed by Machine (Lamb of God), ''The Triptych'' had three different album covers—implying a traditional triptych—by Dan Seagrave. The album hit the No. 1 position on the ''Billboard''s Heatseekers chart during its first week of release in stores, with 6,000 copies sold, and was re-released on October 31, 2006. The album was later included on Demon Hunter's ''Double Take''1 (2007) and ''Death, a Destination''2 (2011) compilations. Nathan Burke (musician)
Nathan Burke was the final bassist, before the reunion, for Frodus. Burke currently plays in The Out Circuit and Night Is Invisible, both of which have released records on Lujo Records. He currently lives in Seattle with his wife Rachel Burke who played in Beauty Pill which were on Dischord Records and has a child. His brother-in-law is Matt Johnson, who played in Ninety Pound Wuss, Raft of Dead Monkeys, and The Out Circuit. Burke briefly worked at Mars Hill Church with Johnson and Jeff Bettger. Matt Johnson (born 6 November 1970 in Houston, Texas) is an American drummer who played in the band of Jeff Buckley, appearing and co-writing one song on his album ''Grace'' in 1994, as well as on subsequent live releases and EPs. Although he stopped playing with Buckley before recording began on what was to become the singer's final original album (released posthumously as ''Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk''), Johnson shares writing credits for one of its tracks. Invisible Creature is an illustration and graphic design studio based in Seattle, Washington. It is run by brothers Don and Ryan Clark and was formed in 2006. Don and Ryan are also the co-founders of Asterik Studio (2000-2008).
