Jason Myers (racing Driver)
Jason Myers (born November 17, 1978) is an American professional stock car racing driver who last competed full-time in the SMART Modified Tour, driving the No. 4 for Gary Myers. He is the younger brother of multi-time Bowman Gray Stadium track champion Burt Myers. Myers has also competed in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, and now defunct NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, as well as the Southern Modified Racing Series, the ASA Southern Modified Race Tour, and the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The track has held a variety of events since its opening in 1947, primarily events sanctioned by NASCAR. Martinsville Speedway is owned by NASCAR and led by track president Clay Campbell. Motor Mile Speedway
Pulaski County Motorsports Park (formerly Pulaski County Speedway, New River Valley Speedway, then Motor Mile Speedway) is a paved oval racetrack in Fairlawn, Pulaski County, Virginia. It was purchased by Shelor Automotive Group in 2004 and was subsequently renamed Motor Mile Speedway. The 2006 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the second season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 25. It ended with the Night of the Modifieds 100 at Southern National Motorsports Park on October 21. Southern National Motorsports Park (formerly Southern National Speedway and Southern National Raceway Park) is a auto racing track in Lucama, North Carolina. History Southern National Motorsports Park hosted 4 NASCAR Southeast Series races between 1996 and 2002. The track also hosted 7 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour events between 2006 and 2014. Ace Speedway is a oval stock car racing track in Altamahaw, North Carolina. The track was constructed by Roy Maddren and opened in 1956 as a dirt oval. In 1984, the track was expanded to a dirt oval. Caraway Speedway is a short track located near Asheboro, North Carolina, U.S. Caraway Speedway was built in 1966 as a dirt track. The track was paved in 1972 and joined the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series family as a asphalt short track. Caraway Speedway was owned and operated by Russell and Valastra Hackett from 1977 to 2010. Russell turned over operations to Darren and Renee Hackett for the 2011 season. Whelen Southern Modified Tour
The Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour is a Modified stock car racing series racing in the Southeastern United States, Southeastern region of The United States. The series began in 1989, NASCAR took over the series in 2005. During its time as a NASCAR sanctioned series it followed identical regulations to the Northern NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The series merged with the Northern Modified Tour in 2017 bringing an end to the series after almost 30 years. Riverhead Raceway
Riverhead Raceway is a oval race track with a Figure 8 course, located in Riverhead, New York. It is the only auto racing venue on Long Island since Westhampton Raceway closed down in 2003. It started being built in 1949 and opened as a dirt track in 1951, before permanently changing to asphalt in 1955. The raceway was also well known for featuring a towering statue of a Native American, dubbed "Chief Running Fair", at its entrance until it was destroyed in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy but rebuilt by Christmas and still standing at its original location.
