James Perry Conner
James Perry Conner (January 27, 1851 – March 19, 1924) was a Republican U.S. Representative from Iowa's 10th congressional district from 1900 to 1909. Background Born in Delaware County, Indiana, Conner attended the Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1873. He was admitted to the bar and practiced in Denison, Iowa. He served as district attorney of the thirteenth judicial district of Iowa from 1880 to 1884. He was elected as a circuit judge of the thirteenth judicial district in 1884, and as a district judge of the sixteenth judicial district in 1886, serving over eight years on the bench."Hon J.P. James Conner (general)
James Conner (September 1, 1829 – June 26, 1883), was a Confederate States Army brigadier-general during the American Civil War. He was a lawyer in South Carolina both before and after the war and was elected Attorney General of South Carolina in 1876. Early life James Conner was born on September 1, 1829, in Charleston, South Carolina. Conner was Presbyterian and remarked that he identified with "Ulster" which was an archaic name for what is today known as Northern Ireland. Conner was born in Charleston, as were both of his parents, all four of his grandparents were Presbyterians of Scottish descent from Ballymena, Ireland in what is today Northern Ireland. After graduating from that state's College in 1849, he studied law and practiced it in Charleston. James Earl Conner (born May 5, 1995) is an American professional American football, football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers football, Pittsburgh Panthers. In 2014, he garnered American Football Coaches Association, AFCA first-team 2014 College Football All-America Team, All-American honors and was awarded the Atlantic Coast Conference, ACC Player of the Year.
