James Conner (American Football)
James Earl Conner (born May 5, 1995) is an American professional American football, football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers football, Pittsburgh Panthers. In 2014, he garnered American Football Coaches Association, AFCA first-team 2014 College Football All-America Team, All-American honors and was awarded the Atlantic Coast Conference, ACC Player of the Year. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. Early life Conner attended McDowell High School in Erie, Pennsylvania. Football Carry
In gridiron football, a carry or rushing attempt is a statistical term equivalent to a single rushing play. The term is typically used in reference to "yards per carry", meaning yards per attempt rushing the ball. Although running backs are typically tasked with carrying the ball, any offensive player who performs a carry is known as a ball-carrier for that play, regardless of position. 2017 NFL Draft
The 2017 NFL draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players.
