Jacob Weitering
Jacob Weitering (born 23 November 1997) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Weitering participated in the Auskick program at Mount Martha and played junior football for the Mount Martha Junior Football Club, before playing for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup. He captained Victoria Country at the 2015 AFL Under 18 Championships, where he was selected in the under 18 All-Australian team. He was a member of the NAB AFL Academy in 2014 and 2015, and was awarded the Ben Mitchell Medal in 2015, voted by his peers as the player who best represents the values important to the AFL Academy. Dandenong Stingrays
The Dandenong Southern Stingrays are an Australian rules football team in the Talent League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition. 1992 saw the birth of the Southern Stingrays, developed under the leadership of Steve Kennedy (Regional Manager) and Ron Roach (Promotions Manager) with its home base located at Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc, Victoria, Mordialloc. The side is coached in the inaugural year by Peter Russo. In 1995 the club moved from Mordialloc to Dandenong, Victoria, Dandenong and it also changed its name to the Dandenong Southern Stingrays.
