IAC (chemotherapy)
"7+3" in the context of chemotherapy is an acronym for a chemotherapy regimen that is most often used today (as of 2014) as first-line induction therapy (to induce remission (medicine), remission) in acute myelogenous leukemia, excluding the acute promyelocytic leukemia form, which is better treated with all-trans retinoic acid, ATRA and/or arsenic trioxide and requires less chemotherapy (if requires it at all, which is not always the case). The name "7+3" comes from the duration of chemotherapy course, which consists of 7 days of standard-dose cytarabine, and 3 days of an anthracycline antibiotic or an anthracenedione, most often daunorubicin (can be substituted for doxorubicin or idarubicin or mitoxantrone). Irish Air Corps
The Air Corps () is the air force of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. INS ''Vikrant'' is an aircraft carrier in service with the Indian Navy. The carrier is India's fourth carrier and the first to be built domestically. It was constructed by the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL). The name ''Vikrant'' is a tribute to India's first aircraft carrier INS ''Vikrant'' (1961). ''Vikrant'' means "courageous" in Sanskrit. The motto of the ship, "जयेम सम् युधिस्पृधः" (Sanskrit), means "I defeat those who dare to challenge me" (English). An idle air control actuator or idle air control valve (IAC actuator/valve) is a device commonly used in fuel-injected vehicles to control the engine's idling rotational speed (RPM). In carburetted vehicles a similar device known as an ''idle speed control actuator'' is used. Description The IAC actuator is an electrically controlled device, which gets its input from the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU). The actuator is fitted such that it either bypasses the throttle or operates the throttle butterfly valve directly. Indy Autonomous Challenge
The Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) is the main and, between July 2023 and April 2024, the only active Autonomous racing, racing series for autonomous race cars. The vehicles participating in the IAC are SAE levels, SAE level 4 autonomous robot, autonomous as they are capable of completing circuit laps and overtaking maneuvers without any human intervention.
