George G. Gatley
George Grant Gatley (September 10, 1868 – January 8, 1931) was a career officer in the United States Army. He attained the rank of brigadier general, and his World War I commands included the 30th and 42nd Infantry Divisions. Early life George G. Gatley was born in Portland, Maine on September 10, 1868, a son of Richard K. Gatley and Sarah (Markham) Gatley. He attended the public schools of Portland, and graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1890. Ranked 25 of 54, he was commissioned in the Field Artillery. William Church Davis
William C. Davis (May 11, 1866 – September 23, 1958) was a career officer in the United States Army. A veteran of Spanish–American War, Philippine–American War, Boxer Rebellion, World War I, he attained the rank of major general and was a recipient of the Army Distinguished Service Medal. Davis was most notable for his First World War command of the 31st Heavy Artillery Brigade, 32nd Heavy Artillery Brigade, and the V Corps Artillery. Harry Hill Bandholtz (December 18, 1864 – May 7, 1925) was a United States Army career officer who served for more than a decade in the Philippines. He was a Major general (United States), major general during World War I, and the US representative of the Inter-Allied Military Mission in Hungary in 1919. Early life Bandholtz was born in Constantine, Michigan, on December 18, 1864. He was the youngest of two children. Edgar Jadwin, C.E. (August 7, 1865 – March 2, 1931) was a U.S. Army officer who fought in the Spanish–American War and World War I, before serving as Chief of Engineers from 1926 to 1929. Clint Calvin Hearn (March 29, 1866 – February 11, 1928) was a United States Army officer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He served in World War I and received the Distinguished Service Medal. Biography Hearn was born on March 29, 1859, in Weston, Texas. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1890. Hearn was commissioned into the Fourth Artillery. Fred Winchester Sladen (November 24, 1867 – July 10, 1945) was a career United States Army officer who rose to the rank of major general and became Superintendent of the United States Military Academy. Colden L'Hommedieu Ruggles (March 18, 1869 – April 2, 1933) was a career officer in the United States Army. A prominent member of the Ordnance Corps, he attained the rank of brigadier general, and was notable for planning and overseeing construction of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. In addition, he was noteworthy for his service as acting Chief of Ordnance in 1930.
