''Gaduggayi'' () is a 1989 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by Sarath. It stars Rajendra Prasad and Rajani, with music composed by Chakravarthy. Plot The film begins in a village where Gopi / Pandu, a callow, is raised by grandparents, Bhushaiah & Parvathamma, who dote on him. He constantly pesters the public with his naughty deeds and irks the local vicious loan shark, Papa Rao, to whom Bhushaiah is also indebted. Meanwhile, in the city, Amala is the daughter of a tycoon, Koteswara Rao, and is Papa Rao's niece. Once, she visits the village and acquaints Gopi with a squabble. Later, she starts liking him after he shields her against harm. Suddenly, Koteswara Rao passes away, entrusting the totality to Amala and assigning his trustworthy Advocate, Chidanandam, as her guardian. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet and lyricist who is known for his works in Telugu literature and cinema. Veturi is a recipient of the National Film Award, various Nandi Awards, Filmfare Awards, and other state honors. His career in Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family. Gadde Rajendra Prasad (born 19 July 1956) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He is a recipient of four Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Santosham Film Awards. Prasad made his debut in 1977 with '' Sneham'' and gained recognition with '' Manchu Pallaki'' (1982). Suryakantam (actress)
Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Telugu cinema. She was popular for her portrayal of cruel and cunning women with a comedic touch. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950. Pandari Bai (18 September 1928 – 29 January 2003) was an Indian actress who worked in South Indian cinema, mostly in Kannada cinema during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
