Eon (Celldweller)
''Wish Upon a Blackstar'' is the second vocal studio album (third overall) from the American electronic rock project Celldweller. While it had been a work in progress since 2004, finalized songs were not issued until mid-2009. The full album was released on June 12, 2012. Grant Mohrman, producer of the debut Celldweller album, returned to co-produce the album with Klayton. Production Klayton began to work on the album in 2004, and it was originally slated for release in 2006, though it was ultimately delayed numerous times. In a late 2008 interview, he stated that: "I would love to just tell everyone 'The album will be done by this date', but I've learned my lesson on that one. It's hard to predict when it will actually wrap up. I can tell you that I am thinking about alternative methods of releasing this album altogether, but I won't say anything until I'm ready to commit... that always gets me in trouble". Celldweller
Celldweller is an electronic rock project by American multi-musician Klayton. Celldweller's songs have been featured in many films, movie trailers, television shows and video games. Career Precursors: Circle of Dust and Angeldust (1992–1999) The name Celldweller was derived from a nickname his mother gave him when he was a teenager, dubbed "Cellar Dweller", as he made all of his music in his parents' basement. Klayton had gained a devoted cult following in the mid 90s because of his industrial metal band Circle of Dust. Deceptive Bends
''Deceptive Bends'' is the fifth studio album by the British rock band 10cc, released in 1977. It was the first album released by the band after the departure of founding members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme and produced the hit single " The Things We Do for Love". History The band started recording sessions for the fifth album in late summer of 1976 with the song " People in Love", at that time referred to as "Voodoo Boogie". But with the tensions in the band rising the track was considered "awful" when assembled, and Kevin Godley and Lol Creme decided to temporarily split with Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman to start work on what would later become their debut project '' Consequences''. Noisecreep is a hard rock and heavy metal music news and media website based in the United States. The site was created by AOL Music in March 2009. Noisecreep was the fourth genre-specific music website owned by AOL after the rock music website Spinner, country music website TheBoot and hip hop music website TheBoomBox. Noisecreep is also part of AOL's MediaGlow publishing division which was created in January 2009. The site publishes music news and interviews presented in a blog-like format, with an emphasis on lesser-known hard rock and heavy metal bands. According to Mike Rich, AOL's head of the entertainment department, "right now with heavy metal and hard rock, unless you're AC/DC or Metallica, you're not getting much play. It was originally launched under Harris Publications in the spring of 2000 by Tom Beaujour and Brad Tolinski, who envisioned it as an American version of ''Mojo (magazine), Mojo''. After five issues, it was relaunched in late 2001 with a focus on heavy music. The magazine features both established acts and up-and-comers in heavy music.
