Emirates Club
Emirates Club () is a professional Association football, football club based in the city of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. They play in the UAE Pro League after being promoted from the UAE First Division League. They play their home games at the Emirates Club Stadium. History Establishment The club was established in 1969, from a merger of three local football teams: Al Ittihad, Al Ahly and Al Shaab under the name Oman Club. They were one of the first three teams along with Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai FC, Al Ahli and Sharjah FC, Al Oruba to play in the UAE league, however they would finish at last place with only 1 point. Benito Carbone (born 14 August 1971) is an Italian association football, football manager and former professional player. 2018–19 UAE Pro League
The 2018–19, UAE Pro League was the 45th edition with Al Ain being the defending champions after winning their 13th title. Both Baniyas and Kalba returned to the pro league after getting relegated back at 2017. After losing Al Shabab and Dubai last season, the league has been reduced to 12 teams. Both the teams needed to get back to 14 teams so they held a relegation play off between bottom two teams of last year and the 3rd and 4th placed teams of the 2nd division. Sharjah set a record of the longest unbeaten run in a UAE Pro League season for 23 games before losing to Al Wasl 3–2. In 2019, Sharjah won their first title since 1996 after beating Al Wahda 3–2, this was the first time a team outside of Dubai and Abu Dhabi won the league since the 1996. 2017–18 UAE Pro League
The 2017–18 UAE Pro League was the 43rd season of top-level football in the United Arab Emirates. Al-Jazira are the defending champions after winning their second title last season. Ajman and Dubai both got promoted on 22 April 2017 after beating Fujairah 3–2 and Ras Al Khaimah 2–0. On 3 May 2017, Baniyas were the first team to get relegated from 2016–17 season after drawing 4–4 against Emirates. Ittihad Kalba were the last team to get relegated after losing to Al-Ain 2–1 and both Emirates and Dibba Al-Fujairah didn't lose in the same week. In July 2017, Al Ahli, Al Shabab and Dubai merged to form Shabab Al Ahli Dubai. On 20 April 2018, Hatta lost to Al Wasl 2–0 and were the first team to get relegated. The 2013–14 UAE Pro League, known as the Arabian Gulf League for sponsorship reasons, is the 39th top-level football season in the United Arab Emirates, and the sixth professional season. Fourteen teams participate, once again with Al Ain as the defending champions after winning the previous two seasons. The league started on 14 September and finished on 11 May 2014 in accordance with FIFA guidelines ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The league was previously known as the Pro League. The 2011–12 UAE Pro League season (known as ''Etisalat Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 37th top-level football season in the UAE, and the fourth Professional season. Al Jazira were the defending champions, having won their 1st Pro League title in the 2010–11 campaign after being runner-up for three times in a row. The 2009–10 UAE League season was the 35th edition of top-level football in the United Arab Emirates. This was the second professional season in the history of the country.
