Claire Dubbelman
Claire Dubbelman (born 1985 or 1986) is a Dutch motorsport official who serves as the permanent deputy race director for Formula One. Early life Dubbelman's father, Huub, worked as a journalist and in public relations for Mercedes-Benz in the Netherlands. As a result of this, Dubbelman was exposed to motorsport during her childhood. At the age of 21, she earned a bachelor's degree in international communication. Career Dubbelman's motorsport career began as an organizer for the Formula Renault Northern European Cup (NEC), during which she was responsible for various tasks relating to keeping the series up and running. She later moved into a managerial role for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. She became a full-time employee of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile in 2017, and she was responsible for managing a total of 26 championships in 2021—including FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3. FIA Formula 3 Championship
The FIA Formula 3 Championship (FIA F3) is a third-tier international Open wheel car, single-seater racing championship organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship launched in 2019 as a feeder series for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and FIA Formula 2 Championships. It was the result of a merger between two third-tier Open wheel car, single-seater racing championships, the GP3 Series and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Rui Marques (born 1972 or 1973) is a Portuguese motorsport official who currently serves as the Formula One race director. He was promoted to the position in November 2024. Career Early career Marques began his career at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile in 2012. He previously worked in Kart racing, karting in his home country of Portugal, and also as the race director for the World Touring Car Championship. He has also served as a Motorsport marshal, track marshal, Scrutineer#Sport, scrutineer, and steward. Formula One race weekend refers to an auto racing event which takes place over three days (usually Friday to Sunday), with a series of practice and qualifying sessions prior to the race on Sunday. The FIA Formula 2 Championship (F2) is a second-tier single-seater championship organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Held on road racing, racing circuits, the championship was introduced in 2017, following the rebranding of the long-term Formula One feeder series GP2 Series, GP2. The series' original founders were Flavio Briatore and current managing director Bruno Michel. FIA Formula 3 European Championship
The FIA Formula 3 European Championship was a European Formula Three (F3) auto racing competition, organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). After one season of the FIA Formula 3 International Trophy, the FIA revived the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The ten-event season included seven Formula 3 Euro Series rounds, two British Formula Three rounds and DTM-supporting round at Brands Hatch. From 2013, the series started running its own rounds, based upon the defunct Formula 3 Euro Series. Formula Renault Northern European Cup
The Formula Renault Northern European Cup (formerly Formula Renault 2.0 NEC) was a Formula Renault 2.0 championship originally held in Northern Europe (Germany, Netherlands and Belgium), but has expanded over the years to the whole of Europe. The series was created in 2006 to merge the Formula Renault 2.0 Germany created in 1991 and the Formula Renault 2.0 Netherlands created in 2003. The series was due to be rebranded as FormulaNEC but was folded prior 2019 due to lack of interest from drivers. The Formula Renault NEC is organised by its promoter MdH Consultants AG.
