Chepén
Chepén is a city of La Libertad Region and capital of the Chepén Province, in Peru. The city is a rice production center with the valleys of Chepén and Jequetepeque, and has an active trading with neighboring Guadalupe, Peru, Guadalupe, Pacasmayo and San Pedro de Lloc and other towns. La Libertad Region
La Libertad (; in English language, English: ''The Liberty'') is a Regions of Peru, department and Regional Government of La Libertad, region in northwestern Peru. Formerly it was known as the Department of La Libertad ('). Julia Wong Kcomt
Julia Wong Kcomt (1965 – 13 March 2024) was a Peruvian writer and cultural manager. The author of dozens of poetry collections, novels, short story collections, and other works, Wong Kcomt addressed themes of identity, migration, and womanhood. She was heavily influenced by her Chinese Peruvian heritage and her experiences living across continents, between South America, Asia, and Europe. Biography Julia Wong Kcomt was born in 1965 in Chepén, Peru. Her father was an immigrant from China, and her mother was '' tusán'', a Peruvian of Chinese ancestry. Wong Kcomt studied law and political science at the University of Lima. In this period, she studied on an American Field Service scholarship in , in southern Germany. She won the University of Lima's Floral Games with her set of poems "Confesiones de mi tierra caliente" ("Confessions of My Hot Land"). Eduardo González Viaña
Eduardo González Viaña (born November 13, 1941, in Chepén, La Libertad, Peru) is a writer and professor of Spanish at Western Oregon University. González Viaña earned a doctorate in Spanish language literature from the National University of Trujillo in Peru, where he also earned a law degree. He moved to the United States in 1990 to become a visiting professor at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1994, he joined the faculty at Western Oregon University where he teaches Spanish language, literature and history. In 1999, González Viaña was awarded the Juan Rulfo Juan Nepomuceno Carlos Pérez Rulfo Vizcaíno, best known as Juan Rulfo (; 16 May 1917 – 7 January 1986), was a Mexican writer, screenwriter, and photographer. San Pedro De Lloc
San Pedro de Lloc is a town in the La Libertad Region of northern Peru. It is the capital of the coastal Pacasmayo Province. It is located about 99 km north of the city of Trujillo. San Pedro de Lloc is also known to be the last place of residence of the Italian-born scientist Antonio Raimondi.
