CB Valls
Club Bàsquet Valls is a basketball club based in Valls, Catalonia, Spain that currently plays in Liga EBA, the fourth tier of Spanish basketball. History Founded in 1952, its first success came in 1993 when the club qualified for the promotion playoffs to the Primera División, at that time the second tier. In 1995 the club was promoted to Liga EBA after finishing champion of the promotion stage played in Monzón. In 2001, Valls made its debut in LEB 2, third tier. In its first season, it qualified for the promotion playoffs but was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In 2004, CB Valls finished as semifinalist of the Copa LEB Plata played in Logroño champion of the 2003–04 LEB 2 and subsequently promoted to Liga LEB. Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado (EBA), commonly known as Liga EBA, is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, LEB Oro, and LEB Plata. It is administered by the FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. The Liga EBA is made up of five inter-regional groups. After the regular season, sixteen teams advance to the playoffs, where only four teams are promoted to the LEB Plata. Guillermo "Guille" Rubio Vergara (alternate spelling: Guillem) (born October 14, 1982 in Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Covirán Granada of the LEB Oro. Rafa Martínez
Rafael Martínez Aguilera (born 3 March 1982), known as Rafa Martínez, is a Spanish professional basketball player for Baxi Manresa of the Liga ACB. He also represented the Spain national team internationally. He plays the shooting guard position. Professional career Rafa Martínez started playing basketball for Basquet Manresa eventually rising from the club's junior team ranks. The team previously played in the Spanish second division LEB but was promoted to the ACB for the 1999–2000 season where on October 9, 1999, he made his professional debut in the top Spanish league against FC Barcelona. The Primera División de Baloncesto is the fifth level in the Spanish basketball league system. Current format The Primera División works similar to the Tercera División of Spanish football. The 2015–16 Copa Catalunya was the 17th season of Copa Catalunya. The Final Four was played at the Pavelló Municipal in Sant Adrià de Besós. UB Sant Adrià won the title.
