2002–03 LEB 2 Season
The 2002–03 LEB 2 season was the 3rd season of the LEB Plata, second league of the Liga Española de Baloncesto and third division in Spain. Competition format 16 teams play during the regular season. It is a round robin tournament, where each team will play against every rival twice. After the regular season, the eight top ranked teams play in the playoffs, were the two finalists are promoted to LEB. LEB 2
The Segunda FEB, formerly known as LEB 2 and LEB Plata, is the third basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system and the second basketball division organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation. Since 2019, three teams are promoted to Primera FEB and six teams are relegated to Tercera FEB. From the 2024–25 season it will be named Segunda FEB. Amics del Bàsquet Castelló, also known as TAU Castelló for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball team based in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. It was founded in 1994 and currently plays in LEB Oro. Club Baloncesto Atapuerca, more commonly known as (Autocid) Ford Burgos by sponsorship reasons, was a professional basketball team based in Burgos, Castilla y León and played in the Polideportivo El Plantío, in LEB Gold league. History The club born as CD Maristas started to play in lower division with that team. CD Maristas reached the Liga EBA in the 98–99 season and competed in that league during three years. Club Bàsquet Valls is a basketball club based in Valls, Catalonia, Spain that currently plays in Liga EBA, the fourth tier of Spanish basketball.
