Bubacarr Bah is a Gambian mathematician. He is (as at July 2024) Associate Professor and Head of Data Science at the MRC Unit based at Banjul, The Gambia. Bubacar Boi Djaló (born 2 February 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Kuwaiti club Al-Tadamon SC. Bubacarr Jobe (born November 21, 1994) is a Gambian footballer who currently plays for Swedish club Kristianstad FC. Career Jobe moved to the United States in 2011, and first played for Rush Soccer alongside Vancouver Whitecaps forward Kekuta Manneh. However, he suffered an ACL injury in the opening weeks of his career in America. He scored four goals in five games during the 2012 Super-20 Championships for Force Football Club Academy, which led to him being named in the All-Tournament Team while being crowned MVP and top scorer. He totalled 10 goals in 27 games for Texas Rush. Jobe was also named 2014 Montgomery County Player of the Year, having broken the Woodlands High School record with 31 goals in a single season. Hassan Bubacar Jallow (born 14 August 1951) is a Gambian judge who has served as Chief Justice of the Gambia since February 2017. He was the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) from 2003 to 2016, and the Prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) from 2012 to 2016, both at the rank of United Nations Under Secretary-General.
