Bubacarr Bah is a Gambian mathematician. He is (as at July 2024) Associate Professor and Head of Data Science at the MRC Unit based at Banjul, The Gambia. Bubacarr Jobe (born November 21, 1994) is a Gambian footballer who currently plays for Swedish club Kristianstad FC. Career Jobe moved to the United States in 2011, and first played for Rush Soccer alongside Vancouver Whitecaps forward Kekuta Manneh. However, he suffered an ACL injury in the opening weeks of his career in America. He scored four goals in five games during the 2012 Super-20 Championships for Force Football Club Academy, which led to him being named in the All-Tournament Team while being crowned MVP and top scorer. He totalled 10 goals in 27 games for Texas Rush. Jobe was also named 2014 Montgomery County Player of the Year, having broken the Woodlands High School record with 31 goals in a single season. Bubacar Njie Kambi (born 14 March 1988), known as Bacari, is a Gambian footballer who plays as a forward for Andorran club UE Sant Julià. Club career Born in Mataró, Barcelona, Catalonia, to Gambian parents, Bacari played for four clubs as a youth (all in his native region, mainly RCD Espanyol), finishing his development at CE Mataró and starting his career as a central defender, being known as Buba. Steve Bubacarr Trawally (born 10 November 1994) is a Gambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for UAE Pro League club Al Urooba, and the Gambia national team. Club career On 12 January 2015, Trawally transferred to Chinese Super League side Hangzhou Greentown. He was then loaned to China League One side Yanbian Changbaishan until the end of the season. Hassan Bubacar Jallow (born 14 August 1951) is a Gambian judge who has served as Chief Justice of the Gambia since February 2017. He was the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) from 2003 to 2016, and the Prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) from 2012 to 2016, both at the rank of United Nations Under Secretary-General. He served as Minister of Justice and Attorney General from 1984 to 1994 under President Dawda Jawara. Early life and education Jallow was born in Bansang, British Gambia on 14 August 1951. He was the son of Abubacar Jallow (d. 1997), an Imam and Islamic Scholar. He attended Saint Augustine's High School in Banjul from 1963 to 1969, and the Gambia High School from 1969 to 1971.
