Bubacarr Bah
Bubacarr Bah is a Gambian mathematician. He is (as at July 2024) Associate Professor and Head of Data Science at the MRC Unit based at Banjul, The Gambia. (Note that the unit is run by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine - but was previously managed by the Medical Research Council (United Kingdom). See COVID-19 pandemic in the Gambia). University Of The Gambia
The University of the Gambia (UTG) is an institution of higher education located in Kanifing, the Gambia. History The campus was founded in 1998 in Kotu-Kanifing District, Kanifing, a suburb of Sere Kunda. It was not until March 1999 that the UTG started to offer courses, following a law passed by the National Assembly of the Gambia. In 1999, 300 students are reported were enrolled. In 2001, Yahya Jammeh's government conducted extrajudicial killings at the university. In 2002, the number of Faculty (teaching staff), academic staff was 44.
