Bommasandra Metro Station
Bommasandra is the upcoming elevated southern-east terminal metro station on the Yellow Line of the Namma Metro serving the Bommasandra neighbourhood with its Industrial Area and Heelalige railway station connected in this area. To the north it leads to Electronic City which holds the IT Parks like Infosys, Bosch (Bengaluru) and Wipro Floating Learning Centre. To the south, it leads to Attibele and Hosur, an industrial city in Tamil Nadu. As per latest reports, this metro station is stated to be operational post May 2024 due to the upcoming Indian general election which will occur during April-May 2024. Namma Metro ("Our Metro" in Kannada), also known as Bengaluru Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, India. Upon its inauguration, it became the first underground metro system in South India. Namma Metro has a mix of underground, at grade, and elevated stations. Hebbagodi Metro Station
Biocon Hebbagodi (formerly known as Hebbagodi) is an upcoming elevated metro station on the Yellow Line of the Namma Metro serving the Hebbagodi suburban area of Bengaluru. In 2020, Biocon Group signed an agreement with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd to contribute 65 crore towards the construction of the metro station and donated land worth 30 crore for the project. Consequently, Biocon obtained the naming rights for the station for 30 years, and the station was renamed from Hebbagodi to Biocon Hebbagodi.
