Blackfield Members
Blackfield is a collaborative music project by the English musician and founder of Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, and Israeli rock musician Aviv Geffen. Together, six albums have been released under the moniker. The first two records, ''Blackfield (album), Blackfield'' and ''Blackfield II,'' saw Geffen and Wilson working together as equal partners, while the third and fourth, ''Welcome to my DNA'' and ''Blackfield IV,'' saw Geffen take on a leading role, writing all but one track across both albums and providing a significantly increased share of lead vocals. Despite initially announcing his intention to leave the project in 2014, Wilson instead worked again as an equal partner on a fifth album, ''Blackfield V'', which was released on 10 February 2017. Hemel Hempstead () is a town in the Dacorum district in Hertfordshire, England. It is located north-west of London; nearby towns and cities include Watford, St Albans and Berkhamsted. Alan Parsons
Alan Parsons (born 20 December 1948) is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. Parsons was the sound engineer on albums including the Beatles' ''Abbey Road'' (1969) and '' Let It Be'' (1970), Pink Floyd's ''The Dark Side of the Moon'' (1973), and the eponymous debut album by Ambrosia in 1975. Parsons's own group, the Alan Parsons Project, as well as his subsequent solo recordings, have also been commercially successful. He has been nominated for 14 Grammy Awards, with his first win occurring in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album for '' Eye in the Sky'' (35th Anniversary Edition). The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)
''The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)'' is the third solo album by British musician Steven Wilson, released by Kscope Music Records on 25 February 2013. Each track on the album is based on a story of the supernatural. Alan Parsons, who had previously been involved in the creation of Pink Floyd's ''The Dark Side of the Moon'', was responsible for engineering the album. A deluxe, 4-disc edition of the album was released as well, which included a 128-page book of lyrics and ghost stories, with illustrations by Hajo Mueller. In addition to this, the album is also available in stand alone double-vinyl, CD and Blu-ray editions. The album was generally well received critically, and has sold over 100,000 copies. Anathema (band)
Anathema were an English rock music, rock band from Liverpool. The group was formed in 1990 by Vincent Cavanagh, Vincent and Daniel Cavanagh, bassist Jamie Cavanagh, drummer/keyboardist John Douglas, and vocalist Darren White. The band maintained an active concert schedule throughout their career. They first toured in 1992 with the American death metal band Cannibal Corpse; they since performed throughout Europe, the United States, Central America, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Turkey. Vincent Cavanagh (born 29 August 1973 in Liverpool) is a British composer, vocalist, and producer, currently releasing music under the moniker The Radicant. His work spans electronic music, contemporary art, dance and immersive technology, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and experimental sound design. ''Aviv Geffen'' is the debut, English-language studio album by Israeli post-punk singer-songwriter Aviv Geffen, released on 19 October 2009 in the UK. Apart from one track Geffen produced himself, the album was produced by David Andrew Sitek (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Trevor Horn (The Buggles, Pet Shop Boys, Yes) and Ken Nelson (Coldplay). The band also features contributions from members of Aviv Geffen's side project Blackfield: Seffy Efrati on bass, Tomer Z on drums and Eran Mitelman on keyboards, all performing on the same 3 tracks, as well as Steven Wilson (guitar). No-Man are an English art pop duo, formed in 1987 as No Man Is an Island (Except the Isle of Man) by singer Tim Bowness and multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson. The band has so far produced seven studio albums and a number of singles/outtakes collections (including 2006's career retrospective ''All the Blue Changes'').
