Bashkortostan, officially the Republic of Bashkortostan, sometimes also called Bashkiria, is a republic of Russia between the Volga river and the Ural Mountains in Eastern Europe. The republic borders Perm Krai to the north, Sverdlovsk Oblast to the northeast, Chelyabinsk Oblast to the east, Orenburg Oblast to the south, Tatarstan to the west and Udmurtia to the northwest. It covers . It is the seventh-most populous federal subject in Russia and the most populous republic. Its capital and largest city is Ufa. As of 2025, it has a population of 4,046,094. State Anthem Of Bashkortostan
The State Anthem of the Republic of Bashkortostan was adopted on 12 October 1993, and officially ratified by the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan on 18 September 2008. According to Article 112 of the Constitution, the anthem serves as one of the federal subject's official state symbols, along with its flag and coat of arms. The anthem has official lyrics in two of the republic's official languages: Bashkir and Russian. The Bashkir lyrics were written by Bashkir authors Ravil Bikbaev and Rashid Shakurov. The Russian lyrics were penned by Svetlana Churayeva with the help of Bashkir musician Farid Idrisov, who also helped with the development of the music. History The anthem was first approved by the Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan "On the State Anthem of the Republic of Bashkortostan" on 12 October 1993.

Radiy Faritovich Khabirov (; ; born 20 March 1964) is a Russian politician and statesman. Rafael Mirkhatimovich Mardanshin (; born 24 December 1961) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 7th and 8th State Dumas. Pavel Kachkayev
Pavel Rurikovich Kachkayev (; 4 October 1951 – 5 May 2025) was a Russian political figure and deputy of the 6th, 7th, and 8th State Dumas. In 1994–1995, he was the head of the Leninsky district in Ufa. From 1995 to 2001, he was the first deputy to the head of administration of Ufa. In 2001, Kachkayev was appointed Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Bashkortostan. He left the post in 2003 as he was appointed the head of the administration of Ufa.
