Al-Jalil (Irbid)
Al-Jalil Sports Club () is a Association football, football club based in Irbid, Jordan, which competes in the Jordanian Second Division League, the third tier of Football in Jordan, Jordanian football. History Al-Jalil SC was founded in 1952 and was named after the Galilee region in Palestine, which includes areas of Palestine (region), Northern Palestine, such as Nazareth, Tiberias, Safed, and more. It was formed by the people of Irbid Camp. The club aimed to provide the social, cultural and sporting aspect to the Irbid Camp community. Throughout its history, the club played a national role in promoting the Palestinain cause and the Palestinian right of return, right to return, and has carried out many activities for their community. 2021 Jordan Shield Cup
The 2021 Jordan FA Shield was the 34th Jordan FA Shield to be played. All 12 teams of the 2021 Jordan Premier League participated. The teams were divided into four groups of three. The top team from each group advanced to the semi-finals. Al-Jalil won their first title by defeating Al-Wehdat in the finals. The 2022 Jordanian Pro League (known as The Jordanian Pro League, was the 70th season of Jordanian Pro League since its inception in 1944. Jordanian Pro League
The Jordanian Pro League () is a Jordanian professional league for men's football clubs and represents the top flight of Jordanian football. The championship consists of twelve competing teams in a home and away league system. The league was not held in the years: 1948, 1953, 1957, 1958, 1967, 1968, 1969, and not finished in 1998. In 2002, the league changed calendar to a fall spring season, and in 2020 the league returned to a spring fall season. From the 2023-24 season, the Jordan Football Association, JFA decided to return to the fall spring calendar to match the date of the league with the Asian championships. The 2020 Jordan League Division 1 started on 27 October 2020 and concluded on 28 January 2021. The season was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan then finished in 2021. The league featured 10 teams from the 2018–19 campaign, two new teams relegated from the 2018–19 Premier League: Al-Baqa'a and That Ras, and two new teams promoted from the 2018–19 Jordan League Division 2: Al-Jalil and Moghayer Al-Sarhan. Al-Wehdat Sports Club () is a Jordanian sports club founded in 1956. They compete in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football. The club is based in and represents the Amman New Camp, a Palestinian refugee camp also known as Al-Wehdat. Their home games are played at King Abdullah II Stadium (cap. 13,265). History The club was founded in 1956 under the name Al-Wehdat Youth Center. In 1974, they changed their name to Al-Wehdat Sports Club and have been called that since then (with the exception of 1986–1989 when it was named Al-Diffatain Sports Club.)
