Ada Express
The Ada Express ( tr, Ada Ekspresi) is a limited stop regional train service operating between Gebze, Kocaeli and Adapazarı. It was inaugurated on 5 January 2015 as the successor to the popular ''Adapazarı Express'' train service. However, unlike its predecessor, the ''Ada Express'' does not make local stops and run as often and it does not operate into central Adapazarı. İçmeler Railway Station
İçmeler railway station ( tr, İçmeler istasyonu) is a railway station in Tuzla, Istanbul. The station was originally opened in 1954 by the Turkish State Railways, as İçme railway station and was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter rail line. The original station consisted of two side platforms with two tracks. İçme station was also serviced by the popular Adapazarı Express regional rail service from Istanbul to Adapazarı. The station was closed down on 1 February 2012, when all train traffic between Pendik and Arifiye Arifiye is a district center of Sakarya Province, Turkey. Adapazarı Express
The Adapazarı Express ( tr, Adapazarı Ekspresi) officially listed as the Haydarpaşa-Adapazarı Regional ( tr, Haydarpaşa-Adapazarı Bölgeseli) was a regional rail service, that ran between Istanbul and Adapazarı. For the majority of its time in service, it was the second-busiest route of the Turkish State Railways, after the Adana-Mersin Regional. Trains served a heavily populated region on the north-east shores of the Sea of Marmara, and the Sakarya plain so service was frequent, with 12 trains daily in each direction in 2012. The Regional service also passed through these important districts of Istanbul: Kadıköy, Maltepe, Kartal, Pendik, Tuzla as well as Gebze, İzmit and Adapazarı. Gebze Railway Station
Gebze station ( tr, Gebze garı) is a station on the Istanbul-Ankara railway in Gebze, Turkey. It is located between Plevne and Etem Paşa Avenues just southwest of Gebze's city center. It was the eastern terminus of the Haydarpaşa suburban commuter service until 2013 and in 2019 became the eastern terminus of the new Marmaray commuter rail line. Gebze was opened in 1873 as part of the Constantinople-Izmit railway, built by the Ottoman government. The Anatolian Railway (CFOA) took over the line in 1880 and continued to build further east from Izmit. Gebze (,) is a district in Kocaeli Province, Turkey. It is situated 65 km (30 mi) southeast of Istanbul, on the Gulf of Izmit, the eastern arm of the Sea of Marmara. Adapazarı Railway Station
Adapazarı station is the main terminal railway station in the city of Adapazarı. It is the eastern terminus of the Haydarpaşa-Adapazarı Regional, the most heavily used rail service line in Turkey and second most in service frequency. The TÜVASAŞ 2000, more commonly known as TVS2000, is a series of intercity railcars built by TÜVASAŞ for the Turkish State Railways between 1993 and 2005. They were built in order to revive TCDD's failing image in the early 1990s, for use on the Capital Express. Today they are the most common railcars in Turkey.
