Abdukodir Khusanov
Abdukodir Khikmatovich Khusanov (; born 29 February 2004) is an Uzbek professional association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Manchester City F.C., Manchester City and the Uzbekistan national football team, Uzbekistan national team. Graduating from the youth setup of Bunyodkor, Khusanov started his career at Belarus with FC Energetik-BGU Minsk, Energetik-BGU in 2022, where he played for one and a half seasons before his transfer to French side RC Lens, Lens in 2023. While at Lens, he became a key player for the club before joining Manchester City in 2025, making history by becoming the first Uzbek player in the English Premier League. The Belarusian Premier League (, ''Vyšejšaja Liha'' or ''Vysheyshaya Liga''; ; "Top League"), also called the BETERA Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Belarus and the highest level of the Belarusian football league system. The 2023 Belarusian Premier League was the 33rd season of top-tier football in Belarus. Shakhtyor Soligorsk were the defending champions (although they were stripped of their title as a result of a match-fixing scandal). The 2022 Belarusian Premier League was the 32nd season of top-tier football in Belarus. Shakhtyor Soligorsk defended their championship winning the fourth league title in club history. The title was subsequently stripped on May 11, 2023 following a match-fixing scandal. FC Neman Grodno or FK Nyoman Hrodna (; ) is a Belarusian professional football club based in the city of Grodno. It is named after the Neman River and founded in 1964. Since 1992, the team has participated in the highest division of Belarusian football league system. FC Vitebsk (, ) is a Belarusian football club based in Vitebsk. The club plays in the Belarusian Premier League, the top division in Belarusian football. Their home stadium is Vitebsky Central Sport Complex. History The club was founded in 1960 as Krasnoye Znamya Vitebsk (''Red Flag Vitebsk'').
