Abdukodir Khusanov
Abdukodir Khikmatovich Khusanov (; born 29 February 2004) is an Uzbek professional association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Manchester City F.C., Manchester City and the Uzbekistan national football team, Uzbekistan national team. Graduating from the youth setup of Bunyodkor, Khusanov started his career at Belarus with FC Energetik-BGU Minsk, Energetik-BGU in 2022, where he played for one and a half seasons before his transfer to French side RC Lens, Lens in 2023. While at Lens, he became a key player for the club before joining Manchester City in 2025, making history by becoming the first Uzbek player in the English Premier League. The 2022 Belarusian Premier League was the 32nd season of top-tier football in Belarus. Shakhtyor Soligorsk defended their championship winning the fourth league title in club history.
