Aalavandhan
''Aalavandhan'' () is a 2001 Indian action thriller film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film features Kamal Haasan in dual roles, alongside Raveena Tandon, Manisha Koirala, Sarath Babu, Gollapudi Maruti Rao, Madurai G.S. Mani and Milind Gunaji. It is an adaptation of the 1984 novel ''Dhayam'', written by Haasan, and incorporates elements of magical realism. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi, with the latter version titled ''Abhay'' (), with three different actors in supporting roles. The Tamil version was dubbed into Telugu and released under the title ''Abhay''. S. Thirunavukarasu (born 21 July 1966), better known mononymously as Tirru, is an Indian cinematographer and screenwriter who has worked in multiple languages across India. Born in Mullukuruchi village, Tirru became interested in photography when he was in college. Mahesh Mahadevan was an Indian composer in the 1990s. Over the last decade of the 20th century, Mahesh composed more than 250 popular advertising jingles including the extremely popular Regaul Blue jingle. He also composed the music for six very successful multi-language motion pictures. Early life Mahesh learnt classical guitar under Dhanraj at the age of eleven.
