2025 Bislett Games
The 2025 Bislett Games was the 60th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Oslo, Norway. Held on 11 and 12 June at Bislett Stadium, it was the sixth leg of the 2025 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. Diamond+ events results Starting in 2025 a new discipline of events was added called Diamond+, these 4 events per meet awarded athletes with increased prize money whilst keeping the standard points format to qualify for the Diamond league finals. First place earns 8 points, with each step down in place earning one less point than the previous, until no points are awarded in 9th place or lower. In the case of a tie, each tying athlete earns the full amount of points for the place. Oslo
Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of 1,064,235 in 2022, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age, the area was part of Viken. Jacob Krop
Jacob Krop (born 4 June 2001) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. He won the silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships and bronze at the 2023 World Athletics Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games. At age 17, Krop was the 5000 m silver medallist at the 2019 African Under-20 Championships. Career In April 2019, 17-year-old Jacob Krop ran a new personal best in the 5000 metres of 13:14.44 to take the silver medal at the African U20 Championships in Athletics in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Kurtis Marschall (born 25 April 1997) is an Australian pole vaulter, bronze medalist at the 2023 World Athletics Championships. Early years Marschall was born on 25 April 1997 in North Adelaide, South Australia. In 2008, as an 11-year-old, Marschall was inspired by Steve Hooker's gold medal win at the Olympic Games in Beijing. A year later he attended a ‘come-and-try' day in Adelaide where he jumped two metres. Marschall started training with Alan Launder and 4 years later was clearing five metres. Stewart "Stewie" McSweyn (born 1 June 1995) is an Australian long-distance runner. He was a finalist in the men's 1500 metres in the Tokyo Olympics, and has also been a World Championships and Commonwealth Games finalist in the 3000 metres steeplechase, 5000 metres and 10,000 metres.
