2024 World Series Of Darts Finals
The 2024 Jack's World Series of Darts Finals was the tenth staging of the World Series of Darts Finals tournament, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament took place at AFAS Live, Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 13 to 15 September 2024. It featured a field of 32 players for the first time. Luke Littler won the title on debut, after beating Michael Smith 11–4 in the final. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion, but lost to Littler in the semi-finals 4–11. AFAS Live
AFAS Live (formerly known as the Heineken Music Hall) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands, near the Johan Cruyff Arena. The big hall, named "Black Box" has a capacity of 6,000 and is 3000 m2; a smaller hall for after parties (Beat Box) has a capacity of 700. History The venue was specially designed for amplified music by architect Frits van Dongen of Architekten Cie. The building was constructed between 1996 and 2001, and cost €30 million. The 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters was the second staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the first event in the season's World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (8 PDC representatives and 8 Asian representatives), and was held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain, from 18–19 January 2024. Michael van Gerwen (; born 25 April 1989) is a Dutch professional darts player. He is currently PDC Order of Merit, ranked number 3 in the world, having been number 1 from 2014 to 2021.
