2024 Minnesota Vikings Season
The 2024 season is the Minnesota Vikings' 64th in the National Football League (NFL), their ninth playing their home games at U.S. Bank Stadium, their 20th under the ownership of Zygi Wilf and their third under the head coach/general manager tandem of Kevin O'Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. The Vikings are looking to improve on their 7–10 record from 2023 and return to the playoffs after a one-year absence. The Vikings started the season 5–0 for the first time since 2016 following a Week 5 victory against the New York Jets in London. This is their first season since 2017 without quarterback Kirk Cousins on the roster, as he signed with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency. The National Football Conference – Northern Division or NFC North is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Nicknamed the "Black and Blue Division" for the rough and tough rivalry games between the teams, it currently has four members: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings. Dean Vincent Lowry (born June 9, 1994) is an American football defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played high school football at Boylan Central Catholic High School in Rockford, Illinois before attending Northwestern and playing for their football team on a scholarship. At Northwestern, he was a four-year starter at defensive end. After his senior year of college, he was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
