2024 Detroit Lions Season
The 2024 season is the Detroit Lions' 95th season in the National Football League (NFL) and their fourth under the head coach/general manager tandem of Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes. They will attempt to improve upon their 12–5 record from the previous season and defend their NFC North title. The Lions debuted updated uniforms with a classic font including a new alternate consisting of blue lettering on black jerseys and matching black pants and black socks and a blue helmet with a black lion graphic. NFC North
The National Football Conference – Northern Division or NFC North is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Nicknamed the "Black and Blue Division" for the rough and tough rivalry games between the teams, it currently has four members: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings. The NFC North was previously known as the NFC Central from 1970 to 2001. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were previously members, from 1977, one year after they joined the league as an expansion team, until 2002 when they moved to the NFC South. Jalen Ahmad Reeves-Maybin (born January 31, 1995) is an American football linebacker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tennessee. He was drafted in the 4th round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. Early years Reeves-Maybin is the son of LaDawn Reeves and Marques Maybin. He attended Northeast High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. He played high school football for Northeast. He contributed to the team on offense as a quarterback. Chase Lucas
Chase Lucas (born March 4, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State. Early career Lucas played at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona. He started at running back as a sophomore. As a junior, Lucas helped Chandler win its first state championship since 1949. The team featured future NFL players N'Keal Harry and Bryce Perkins. Lucas contributed 113 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards in the 28-7 win over Chandler Hamilton. Zonovan "Bam" Knight (born April 11, 2001) is an American football running back for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State. High school career Knight attended Southern Nash High School in Bailey, North Carolina. During his high school career, he had a school record 5,073 rushing yards and 71 touchdowns. He committed to North Carolina State University to play college football. College career As a true freshman at NC State in 2019, Knight started seven games and led the team with 745 yards on 136 carries with five touchdowns. Jerry Jacobs (American Football)
Jerry Jacobs (born September 26, 1997) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Hutchinson Community College, Arkansas State and Arkansas. College career Jacobs began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College. He Earned KJCC All-Conference honors with the Blue Dragons and recorded 39 tackles and four interceptions. In the fall of 2018 he transferred to Arkansas State. Jonah Jackson (born February 5, 1997) is an American football offensive guard for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and Rutgers. William Jamahl Harris (born December 19, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Boston College.
