2020 Polish Speedway Season
The 2020 Polish Speedway season was the 2020 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Unia Leszno won the Ekstraliga and were awarded the gold medal and declared Polish Team Champions. The teams finishing second and third were awarded silver and bronze medals respectively. KS Toruń won the 1. Liga and Wilki Krosno won the 2. Liga. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2020 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 7 September at the Stadion im. Alfreda Smoczyka in Leszno. Maciej Janowski won the individual title after recording a 15-point maximum in the heats leading up to the final race. Golden Helmet The 2020 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2020 event for the league's leading riders. The 2019 Polish Speedway season was the 2019 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2019 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 14 July at Leszno. Janusz Kołodziej won the Polish Championship for the fourth time. Golden Helmet The 2019 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2019 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Gdańsk on the 11 October. Krzysztof Kasprzak won the Golden Helmet. Golden Helmet (Poland)
The Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) is an annual speedway event, and has been organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) since 1961. The race is held in PC Team 3rd from last season (previously Wrocław), with the top twelve riders in the Extraleague and the top four riders in the First League. The winner receives a new Jawa motorcycle. Adrian Miedziński
Adrian Miedziński (born 20 August 1985 in Toruń, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. Career He has won the Team Under-21 World Champion and Individual Under-21 Polish Champion titles. In 2022, while riding for Bydgoszcz he suffered a serious crash which resulted in him being put into an induced coma due to brain and spinal injuries. Jakub Jamróg (born 24 June 1991) is Polish speedway rider. Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Career summary Kasprzak became the European Champion in 2003 after winning the 2003 Individual Speedway European Championship. He also made his British speedway debut after joining Poole Pirates. Kacper Woryna (born 31 August 1996) is a Polish Speedway rider. Biography Born in Rybnik Woryna began racing in his native Poland in the Ekstraliga, with hometown club Rybnik. After a few years of riding in Poland, Woryna got his first break into British Speedway riding with the Coventry Bees during the 2016 Elite League season, who beat off competition from his grandfathers former club the Poole Pirates to secure his signature. Woryna was recommended to the Bees management by club captain and Speedway Grand Prix rider Chris Harris, and was also given a big thumbs up by another of his new Coventry teammates, former world number 2 Krzysztof Kasprzak. Krystian Pieszczek
Kristian Pieszczek (born 23 September 1995) is a Polish speedway rider. Career Born in Gdańsk, Pieszczek first had success as a junior in 2007. He made his Polish league debut in 2011 for Wybrzeże Gdańsk, going on to ride for the club in the Ekstraliga in 2012. He won the Bronze Helmet in 2012 and 2013, and in 2013 was also part of the victorious Polish team in the European Junior Championships. In 2015 he moved to Falubaz Zielona Góra.
