2019–20 FC Ararat Yerevan Season
The 2019–20 season was FC Ararat Yerevan's 29th consecutive season in Armenian Premier League. Season events On 29 July, Sergei Bulatov resigned citing family circumstances, with Sergei Boyko being appointed as interim-manager the same day. On 16 September, Boyko resigned with Gagik Simonyan being placed in interim charge. On 14 October, Vadym Lazorenko was appointed as the new manager of Ararat Yerevan. On 28 December Lazorenko left Ararat Yerevan after the expiration of his contract. On 6 January, Igor Kolyvanov was announced as the new manager of Ararat Yerevan. On 12 March 2020, the Football Federation of Armenia announced that all Armenian Premier League games had been postponed until 23 March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. FC Ararat Yerevan
Football Club Ararat Yerevan (), commonly known as Ararat Yerevan, is an Armenia, Armenian professional Association football, football club based in Yerevan that plays in the Armenian Premier League. Since 1999 the club has been owned by the Swiss-Armenian businessman Vartan Sirmakes. The badge shows a white eagle standing on a football and is a reference to the club nickname. The badge also displays the name of Ararat in both Latin (Ararat) and Armenian (ԱՐԱՐԱՏ) text. History In 1935, a football team was established in Yerevan by Spartak sports society. Thomas Phibel
Thomas Phibel (born 31 May 1986) is a Guadeloupean former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Club career Phibel spent the 2008–09 season on loan at Brussels from Standard Liège. He made two Belgian First Division appearances for Standard Liège. After having his contract with Widzew Łódź terminated, Phibel signed for Russian Premier League side Amkar Perm, before leaving them during the 2014–15 winter break. SC Rotor Volgograd () is a Russian professional football club from the large city of Volgograd, Volgograd Oblast (formerly Stalingrad). Yevgeni Vladimirovich Makeyev or Evgeniy Makeev (; born 24 July 1989) is a Russian former association football player who played as a left-back or centre-back. It was owned by the Mika Corporation LLC headed by the Russia-based Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov. The club headquarters were located on Manandyan street 41, Yerevan.
