2019–20 Danish Cup
The 2019–20 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, was the 66th season of the Danish Cup competition. The winners of the tournament, SønderjyskE, in winning their first major championship in club history, earned qualification into the second qualifying round of the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. Structure In the first round, there 88 teams participated, coming from all levels of competition. Eight additional teams joined in round two and the top six teams from the 2018-19 Danish Superliga entered the 3rd round. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official " knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' (The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. Riisvangen Stadion
Riisvangen Stadion (, "Riis Meadow") is an association football stadium in Aarhus N. It is the home stadium of Danish 2nd Division club Aarhus Fremad. Stadium capacity is 5,000, but the attendance record is 3,200 which occurred when the club competed in the Danish Superliga, in a matchup against Ikast fS on 2 November 1997. Riisvangen Stadion was constructed in the 1936 on the initiative of Aarhus Municipality. During this period, the population of Aarhus had experienced a large population growth concentrated around northern Aarhus, known as Aarhus N, and the construction of a sports facility would facilitate needs to nurture sports in the area. Skagen
Skagen () is Denmark's northernmost town, on the east coast of the Skagen Odde peninsula in the far north of Jutland, part of Frederikshavn Municipality in Nordjylland, north of Frederikshavn and northeast of Aalborg. FC Djursland is an association football club based in the town of Grenaa, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Odder Idræts- og Gymnastikforening is a Danish football club currently playing in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of Danish football.
