Danish Cup
The Danish Cup (; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "single-elimination tournament, knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' (Feast of the Ascension, The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. However in the 1991 and 1992 seasons the final had been rescheduled to Odense Stadion and Århus Stadion respectively due to the renovation of Parken. Furthermore, in 2011, because Ascension Thursday fell on 2 June and an international match date was already allotted for this date, the Danish Cup final was played two weeks earlier on 22 May, which coincided with the annual Copenhagen Marathon. 2024–25 Danish Cup
The 2024–25 Danish Cup, also known as Oddset Pokalen, is the 71st season of the Danish Cup competition. The winner of the competition will qualify for the first round qualifying of the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League. Silkeborg IF, Silkeborg were the defending champions but were defeated by F.C. Copenhagen, Copenhagen in the 2025 Danish Cup final, final at MCH Arena on 29 May 2025. Copenhagen achieved a record-setting tenth Danish Cup trophy. Structure 92 teams will participate in the first round, coming from all levels of competition. Six additional teams join in the second round, while the top six teams from the 2023–24 Danish Superliga enter in the third round. Participants 104 teams will compete for the DBU Pokalen, Danish Cup. BK Frem
Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team and its youth academy. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. Aalborg Chang is a Danish association football club based in the city of Aalborg, that competes in the Jutland Series, one of the sixth tiers of the Danish football league system, and the top tier of the regional DBU Jutland football association, to which it belongs. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ) is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country where gymnastics and fencing were featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902. Danish 3rd Division
The 3rd Division () is the fourth tier of the Danish football league system since the 2021–22 season. It is the semi-professional association football league for men. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (DBU) as part of the nationwide football competitions and is positioned between the third-tier 2nd Division and the fifth-tier Denmark Series in the league pyramid.
