2019 Kehoe Cup
The 2019 Kehoe Cup was an inter-county hurling competition based mainly in the province of Leinster in which Antrim from Ulster also took part. The Kehoe Cup is ranked below the Walsh Cup (tier 1). Five county teams competed – , , , and . It took place in December 2018 and January 2019. Westmeath were the winners. The Kehoe Shield was revived in 2019. Three teams competed – , and DCU St. Patrick's Campus. Louth were the winners. Kehoe Cup Kehoe Cup format The competition begins with a double-elimination format. The semi-finals and final are knockout. Drawn games go to extra time. If the score is still level after extra time a penalty shoot-out is held to determine the winners. Westmeath GAA
The Westmeath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Westmeath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Westmeath. The county board is also responsible for the Westmeath county teams. The county football team won the Leinster Senior Football Championship in 2004. Killian Doyle
Killian Doyle (born 18 April 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays as a centre-forward with the Westmeath senior team. Born in Raharney, County Westmeath, Doyle developed as a hurler during his secondary schooling at St. Joseph's Secondary School in Rochfortbridge. Here he was an All-Ireland runner-up in 2012. Doyle simultaneously made his first appearances for the Raharney club at underage levels, before winning county senior championship medals in 2014 and 2016. Doyle made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he was selected for the Westmeath minor team. He enjoyed four championship seasons with the minor team. Doyle subsequently joined the Westmeath under-21 team. He made his senior debut during the 2016 league. Kinnegad () is a town in County Westmeath, Ireland. It is on the border with County Meath, near the junction of the M6 and the M4 motorways - two of Ireland's main east–west roads. It is roughly 60 km from the capital, Dublin. From 1996 to 2016, there was a considerable increase in Kinnegad's population, from 517 to 2,745 inhabitants. According to the 2016 census, approximately 79% of the town's housing stock (715 out of 907 households) was built between 1991 and 2010. Abbotstown
Abbotstown () is a townland in the civil parish of Castleknock in Fingal, Ireland. It is also the name of an historical demesne and country estate that is close to Blanchardstown. Historically the estate belonged to a number of aristocratic families. When these neighbouring families intermarried, their combined estates in Abbotstown and the townland of Sheephill were usually, though informally, called "Abbotstown". Newbridge, County Kildare
Newbridge, officially known by its Irish language, Irish name Droichead Nua (), is a town in County Kildare, Ireland.
