2017 Superstar Shake-up
The 2017 WWE Superstar Shake-up was the eleventh WWE draft – and the first to be rebranded as the Superstar Shake-up – produced by the American professional wrestling promotion WWE between the Raw and SmackDown brands. Instead of a traditional draft, changes between the brands were made behind the scenes, with moving wrestlers simply appearing on a brand's show or announced via WWE's website or social medias. It was a two-day event that took place on the April 10 and 11 episodes of ''Monday Night Raw'' and '' SmackDown Live'', respectively, on the USA Network in the United States. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum (or simply the Nassau Coliseum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Uniondale, New York, on Long Island. The venue is situated approximately east of the eastern limits of the borough of Queens in New York City, adjacent to the Meadowbrook Parkway. It is one of the larger public auditoriums in the New York metropolitan area. Opened in 1972, the Coliseum occupies of Mitchel Field, a former Army airfield, later an Air Force base. The 2017 Extreme Rules was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the ninth annual Extreme Rules and took place on June 4, 2017, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw brand division. This was the second Extreme Rules held at this venue after the 2010 event, when it was formerly known as 1st Mariner Arena (renamed in 2014). It was also the only brand-exclusive Extreme Rules event to be held during either of WWE's brand extension periods.
