2012 TTA – Racing Elite League
The 2012 TTA – Racing Elite League season was the only season of the new Racing Elite League run by the Touring Car Team Association. The championship was formed as a breakaway from the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. Following the season, the two series announced their reunification, under the STCC name but with the TTA technical regulations. TTA – Racing Elite League
TTA – Racing Elite League was a Swedish touring car racing series started in 2012, which was founded by four of the biggest teams from the Swedish Touring Car Championship: Polestar Racing, Flash Engineering, WestCoast Racing and Brovallen Design in 2011. TTA worked with the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation and the race car was developed by the French motorsport company Solution-F. The car was a silhouette, where the chassis and powertrain are standardized and custom-built for racing, and where the body is molded from composite material to mimic a normal car. TTA bought the Swedish Racing League and renamed it to the ''TTA – Elitserien i Racing'' (TTA – Racing Elite League). After just one season, the series merged with the STCC in 2013. Karlskoga Motorstadion
Karlskoga Motorstadion, also known as Gelleråsen Arena, is the oldest permanent motorsport race track in Sweden. The circuit is located north of Karlskoga. The layout is such that the whole track can be seen from all spectator areas. It is currently authorised for European Championship rounds of road racing and Swedish Touring Car Championship events. Jan Brunstedt
Jan Olof Brunstedt (born 9 July 1949 in Stockholm, Sweden) is an auto racing driver who competed in the 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia at the age of 59. He is also an airline pilot and managing director of Nordic Aero. He started racing in karting from 1979. From then, he drove in single-seaters including the Swedish Formula 3 and Swedish Formula Opel championships. In 1996 he finished second in points driving in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. Alx Danielsson
Dennis Mikael Alexander "Alx" Danielsson (born 1 April 1981) is a Swedish racing driver and the 2006 champion of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. He currently competes in the Swedish V8 Thundercar Series and as a fill-in driver on the Monster Jam circuit. Career Danielsson's career started in karting in 1998, where he stayed until 1999 before moving up to Formula Ford. In 2004 Danielsson progressed to Formula Renault V6 in Europe and Asia before moving onto the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in Europe. Tommy Rustad (born 3 September 1968) is a Norwegian racing driver. He currently drives in the FIA European Rallycross Championship and occasionally in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. Tommy is the son of former well known Norwegian racer Ola Rustad.
