2012 Coors Light Cash Spiel
The 2012 Coors Light Cash Spiel was held from November 23 to 25 at the Duluth Curling Club in Duluth, Minnesota as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. It was held in conjunction with the 2012 Molson Cash Spiel. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was USD$14,400. In the final, Bryan Burgess of Ontario defeated John Shuster John Shuster ( ; born November 3, 1982) is an American curler who lives in Superior, Wisconsin. Matthew James Hamilton (born February 19, 1989) is an American Curling, curler from McFarland, Wisconsin. He is a World Junior Champion, World Men's bronze medalist, and Olympic gold medalist. Hamilton currently plays second for the Duluth, Minnesota-based John Shuster team. Kroy Everett Nernberger (born February 27, 1984) is an American curler from Madison, Wisconsin. He was a bronze medalist at the as alternate on John Shuster's Team USA. Curling career Nernberger competed in three Junior National Championships, with his best finish at fourth place in 2002 and 2004. He has medaled at the Men's National Championship three times, all in a row on skip Craig Brown's team, silver in 2014 and 2015 and bronze in 2016. Craig Brown (born August 18, 1975) is an American curler. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, he is one of the top skips in the U.S. He was the skip of the 2000 and 2008 U.S. champion rinks. At the 2000 Ford World Curling Championships, Brown skipped the U.S. team to a fourth-place finish, losing to Finland in the final. Trevor Nevin Marcel Bonot (born May 27, 1985) is a Canadian curler who lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bonot was born and raised in Stratton, Ontario. Bonot played for Team Canada and won a medal at a World Mixed Curling Championships (2017).
