Marek Cieślak
Marek Kazimierz Cieślak (born 28 June 1950) is a former speedway rider and current coach. He earned 29 international caps for the Poland national speedway team. Career Cieślak rode two seasons in the British leagues after joining White City Rebels for the 1977 British League season. Cieślak won a second consecutive silver medal at the Speedway World Team Cup in the 1977 Speedway World Team Cup. In 2007 he was a manager of Poland national team. Poland won Speedway World Cup and Team U-21 World Championship. After victory in SWC, on 30 July 2007 Polish president Lech Kaczyński honoured him Knight's Cross of Order of Polonia Restituta for prominent contributions for development of Polish speedway sport and for achievement in training work.(plPolish president website – 30 December 2007. The Olympic Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Wrocław, Poland. It is the home stadium of Motorcycle speedway, speedway team Sparta Wrocław and American football team Panthers Wrocław. Antoni Woryna
Antoni Woryna (15 February 1941 – 14 December 2002) was a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. He appeared in the Speedway World Championship finals five times. He earned 47 international caps for the Poland national speedway team. Career Woryna began his speedway career with Rybnik during the 1965 Polish speedway season. He would remain with the club for his entire Polish league career. He was part of the Górnik/ROW Rybnik team that dominated the Team Speedway Polish Championship during the 1960s and were rewarded with United Kingdom tours in 1965, 1966 and 1967. He was the first Polish rider to win a medal at Speedway World Championship, when he won the bronze medal at the 1966 Individual Speedway World Championship. He was also a member of the Polish World Team Cup winning teams of 1965 and 1966. He rode in Great Britain from 1973 to 1974, after joining the Poole Pirates.
