157th Mechanized Brigade (Ukraine)
The 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2024. History Formation The brigade was formed after a Ukrainian mobilization law came into force, seeing the draft age being lowered from 27 to 25 and placing penalties for those avoiding conscription. This law also saw prisoners being able to join the armed forces. Mechanized Infantry

The Russo-Ukrainian War began in February 2014 and is ongoing. Pokrovsk Offensive
The Pokrovsk offensive is an ongoing military operation in the Russian invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Armed Forces with the primary goal of capturing the strategic city of Pokrovsk in western Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian Ground Forces
The Ukrainian Ground Forces (SVZSU, ), also referred to as the Ukrainian army, is a land force, and one of the eight Military branch, branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
