Đorđi Peruzović
Đorđi Peruzović is a popular Croatian pop singer. He has been prolific in his recording from the late 1960s through to the 2010s. He had chart success with the song "Where Were You During Thundering". Background He spent his young years in Vrboska on the island of Hvar. He got his start at high school in 1958 performing behind the microphone. He first performed at the Split Prokurative Festival in 1963 with "Balada o tovaru" which was written by Zdenko Runjić. Since then, he has been a regular. By 2014, he had recorded approximately fifty singles and five solo albums. Career 1960s - 1980s Đorđi Peruzović recorded the ''Viva Maria'' EP that was released on PGP RTB EP 50157 in 1966. The other three songs on the EP were, "Jedan Čovjek ... Jedna Priča" ("A Man... Vrboska is a settlement on the north coast of the island of Hvar in Dalmatia, Croatia, in the Municipality of Jelsa, Croatia, Jelsa. Jugoton was the largest record label and chain record store in the former Yugoslavia based in Zagreb, SR Croatia. History Jugoton was formed in 1947. It replaced Elektroton, which had been founded in 1937, nationalized in 1945, and liquidated in 1947, acquiring its machines and matrices. By 1961, Jugoton was producing 2,371,600 records a year. Supraphon Music Publishing is a Czech record label, oriented mainly towards publishing classical music and popular music, with an emphasis on Czech and Slovak composers. History The Supraphon name was first registered as a trademark in 1932. The name was used for the label of domestic albums produced for export by Ultraphon company. After World War II, Ultraphon was nationalized and its name changed to ''Gramofonové závody''. "Everybody Loves Somebody" is a song written in 1947 by Irving Taylor and pianist Ken Lane, and made famous by Dean Martin who recorded and released his version in 1964. History Written almost 20 years earlier, by 1964 the song had already been recorded by several artists. The song was first recorded by Peggy Lee with Dave Barbour and his orchestra on November 20, 1947 for Capitol.
