Schloss Einstein
''Schloss Einstein'' is a long-running, popular German television series which is designed as a teenage soap opera. It portrays the lives of teenagers in Schloss Einstein (Castle Einstein), a fictional boarding school. The intended audience is 10- to 14-year-olds. The series combines the genres of comedy, action, drama (e.g., first love, problems with parents and schoolmates), and natural science. Scripts for the series are written by prominent television script writers. Current air times New episodes of ''Schloss Einstein'' are currently shown on Saturdays at 2:35 p.m. on channel KiKa. Older episodes are shown regularly from Monday to Friday at 2:10 p.m. on KiKa. KiKA (contraction of ''Der KinderKAnal von ARD und ZDF''  ARD and ZDF">ARD_(broadcaster).html" ;"title="he Children's Channel of ARD (broadcaster)">ARD and ZDF]) is a German free-to-air television channel based in Erfurt, Germany. Peter Sodann (born 1 June 1936 in Meissen, Saxony) is a German actor, director and politician. He was the Left Party's nominee for the 2009 presidential election, but was not considered a serious candidate by the German media. Early life Sodann was born on 1 June 1936 in Meissen to a working-class family. After training to be a toolmaker, he moved to Leipzig in order to study law. In 1959 he transferred to the Theaterhochschule Leipzig, where he led a cabaret group. The group's performance was deemed subversive by the East German authorities and closed in 1961. Florian Wünsche (born 18 July 1991) is a German actor and well known for his role as Manuel Siewert in the children soap opera ''Schloss Einstein''. He had his first small role in the feature movie ''Wer küsst schon einen Leguan?'' in 2003. This was followed by guest parts in two episodes of ''Ein Engel für alle'' and his first appearance in ''KRIMI.DE''. After that he took the role of boarding school student Manuel Siewert in the popular teen soap ''Schloss Einstein'' in 2008. Wünsche lasted three seasons on the show, leaving ''Schloss Einstein'' in 2010.
