La Broquerie (french: Municipalité rurale de La Broquerie) is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada, located in the southeastern part of the province, just south and east of the city of Steinbach. The municipality consists of 6 townships. La Broquerie is a fast-growing community consisting of a wide range of cultural backgrounds including English, French and Mennonite. The 2011 Census reported a population of 5,198 persons, a 42.1% increase from the 3,659 reported in 2006. The unincorporated community of La Broquerie to the north, and the general development zones of Marchand to the east and Zhoda to the south form the urban centres of the municipality. Steinbach () ( Plautdietsch: /ˈʃte̞nbah/ or /ˈʃte̞nbax/) is a city located about south-east of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. 2021 Canadian Census
The 2021 Canadian census was a detailed enumeration of the Canadian population with a reference date of May 11, 2021. It follows the 2016 Canadian census, which recorded a population of 35,151,728. The overall response rate was 98%, which is slightly lower than the response rate for the 2016 census. It recorded a population of 36,991,981, a 5.2% increase from 2016. Planning Consultation on census program content was from September 11 to December 8, 2017. Aspen parkland refers to a very large area of transitional biome between prairie and boreal forest in two sections, namely the Peace River Country of northwestern Alberta crossing the border into British Columbia, and a much larger area stretching from central Alberta, all across central Saskatchewan to south central Manitoba and continuing into small parts of the US states of Minnesota and North Dakota. Aspen parkland consists of groves of aspen, poplar and spruce, interspersed with areas of prairie grasslands, also intersected by large stream and river valleys lined with aspen-spruce forests and dense shrubbery. Marchand is a village located in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie in Manitoba, southeast of Winnipeg and about ten kilometres southeast of the city of La Broquerie. It is a Franco-Manitoban community. The village of Marchand is the front door to access the Marchand Provincial Park and the Sandilands Provincial Forest.
