Matteo Mauri
Matteo Mauri (born 24 May 1970 in Milan) is an Italian politician. He is the Deputy Minister of the Interior in the Conte II Cabinet. He was appointed Deputy Minister on 13 September 2019. Biography Election as deputy On November 24, 2009 he was appointed as National Chairman of Infrastructure and Transport of the Democratic Party in the National Secretariat of the New Secretary Pier Luigi Bersani. In the 2013 general elections he was elected deputy of the XVII legislature of the Italian Republic in the III Lombardia district for the Democratic Party. He succeeded Ettore Rosato and was appointed PD group leader in the Chamber as the new deputy group leader. Cesare Damiano (born 15 June 1948 in Cuneo) is an Italian politician, member of the Democratic Party. A former leading member of the CGIL trade union, Damiano has been a part of the Democrats of the Left national secretaryship since 2001. He is a former Minister of Labour. Biography In 1970 Cesare Damiano enrolled in the FIOM-CGIL of which he was corporate representative, responsible for the work among the employees and officer (from 1974); in 1976 he entered the secretariat of the Fiom-CGIL of Turin and from 1980 to 1989 he was general secretary of the same syndicate in Piedmont. Italian Electoral Law Of 2015
The Italian electoral law of 2015, also known as ''Italicum'', was an Italian electoral law passed in 2015. The law, which came into force on 1 July 2016, regulated only the election of the Chamber of Deputies, replacing the Italian electoral law of 2005, which had been ruled partly unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of Italy in December 2013. It provided for a two-round system based on party-list proportional representation, including a majority bonus and a 3% election threshold. Candidates would have run in 100 multi-member constituencies using open lists. The largest party which won over 40% of the vote would automatically win a majority of seats; if no party won 40% of seats, a second round of voting would be held between the two largest parties, with the winner of the second round winning a majority of seats. Ettore Rosato
Ettore Rosato (born 28 July 1968) is an Italian politician, member of the Chamber of Deputies, and formerly leader of the Democratic Party in the Chamber. Political career Rosato was born in Trieste in 1968. He started his interest in politics when he attended the ''liceo'' (high school). In the late 1980s he became a member of the Christian Democracy (DC) party and was elected city councilor in his hometown. When the DC was later disbanded he joined the Italian People's Party (PPI) and The Daisy (DL). In 2003 he became a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
