Kacha (; ; crh, Qaçı) is an urban-type settlement under the City of Sevastopol's jurisdiction, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as part of the Crimean Federal District. Military outpost There is an airbase in Kacha used by Russia and its Black Sea Fleet Naval Air Force as headquarters for the 25th Independent Anti-submarine Helicopter Regiment (25th AHR) and the 917th Independent Composite Air Regiment (917th ICAR). Crimea

Crimean Federal District
The Crimean Federal District (russian: Кры́мский федера́льный о́круг) was a federal district of Russia. It was established on March 21, 2014 after the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. The federal district included both the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, both recognized as part of Ukraine by most of the international community. Ukraine considers the area, along with some other areas, as '' temporarily occupied territories''. Oleg Belaventsev was appointed the presidential envoy, and the administrative centre of the federal district was Simferopol. Hvardiiske ( crh, Sarabuz, russian: Гвардейское, uk, Гвардійське) is an urban-type settlement in Simferopol Raion of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as part of the Republic of Crimea since the 2014 annexation of Crimea. Population: Hvardiiske airbase Next to the town is an airbase formerly under the jurisdiction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, now controlled by the Russian Air Force, Gvardeyskoye (air base). In June 1990, the 43rd independent Naval Assault Aviation Regiment arrived at the airbase from Choibalsan in Mongolia. In February and March 2014, Russia annexed Crimea. On 1 July 2014, the regiment moved to Saky (air base) also in the Crimea.
