Friulian Front
The Friulian Front (''Front Furlan'', ''Fronte Friulano'', FF) is a separatist political party active in Friuli, Italy. The party was founded in 2006 by dissidents of Lega Nord Friuli–Lega Nord, the largest Friulianist party so far. The Front strives for the complete political, cultural and economic autonomy of Friuli in the context of the Mitteleuropean community, and against the "political oppression", the "economic collapse", the "ethnic oppression" and "the devastation of local culture" perpetrated by Italian institutions. Separatism
Separatism is the advocacy of cultural, ethnic, tribal, religious, racial, governmental or gender separation from the larger group. As with secession, separatism conventionally refers to full political separation. Groups simply seeking greater autonomy are not separatist as such. Lega Friuli-Venezia Giulia ( en, Friuli-Venezia Giulia League), whose complete name is ( en, Friuli-Venezia Giulia League for Salvini Premier), is a regionalist political party active in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name. The party was nonetheless frequently referred to only as "Lega" even before the rebranding, and informally as the (). The party's latest elected leader was Matteo Salvini.
