The ice dance competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held on 19 and 20 February 2018 at the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea. The short dance was held on 19 February and the free dance was held on 20 February. Summary Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir scored 83.67 in the short dance, breaking their own world record. Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron finished in second place, 1.74 points behind Virtue/Moir. Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani finished in fourth place, and Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue were third, with just 0.02 points separating the two couples. Gangneung Ice Arena
Gangneung Ice Arena ( ko, 강릉 아이스 아레나) is an indoor Ice rink, ice arena, built for the 2018 Winter Olympics. It is located in the coastal city of Gangneung. It was the venue for two sports: Figure skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics, figure skating and Short track speed skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics, short track speed skating. The seating capacity is 12,000. The Gangneung Ice Arena is designed to house two ice rinks (), one for competition and one for training. Luca Lanotte (born 30 July 1985) is an Italian former ice dancer. With partner Anna Cappellini, he is the 2014 World champion, the 2014 European champion, the 2015 Cup of China champion and a thirteen-time medalist on the Grand Prix series, and a seven-time Italian national champion (2012–18). The 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy was a senior international figure skating competition held in September 2017 in Oberstdorf, Germany. It was part of the 2017–18 ISU Challenger Series. 2017 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2017 World Figure Skating Championships were held 29 March – 2 April 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. The host was named in June 2014.
