2023 Baltic Sea Darts Open
The 2023 Interwetten Baltic Sea Darts Open was the first of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2023 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Wunderino Arena, Kiel, Germany from 24 to 26 February 2023. It featured a field of 48 players and £175,000 in prize money, with £30,000 going to the winner. Dave Chisnall won his fourth European Tour title by defeating Luke Humphries 8–5 in the final. The event also saw 239 scores of 180 hit during the tournament, beating the previous European Tour record of 231. Wunderino Arena
The Wunderino-Arena (formerly known as Ostseehalle) is an indoor arena, in Kiel, Germany. It is primarily used by THW Kiel (team handball) and as a venue for rock/pop concerts. It holds up to 13,500 people. History Construction was determined in 1950 by the Kiel council meeting. The Osteseehalle was initiated on 17 June 1951, during the Kiel Week and was eventually finished in 1952. For this purpose, the steel construction of a retired airplane hangar, from an airbase on the island Sylt, was dismantled and brought to Kiel. Over the course of decades, the arena was constantly redeveloped, and since renovations finished in September 2001, it is now "prepared for the next 50 years", according to the operators. On 1 January 2008, the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe purchased the naming rights. On 1 July 2020, the name changed to Wunderino Arena. Kiel

Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, 10 in 2016, 12 in 2017, 13 in both 2018 and 2019. There were 13 scheduled in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic). Only two events took place in 2021, with a return to 13 events in 2022, 2023 and 2024, then 14 in 2025. These events see the top players on the PDC Order of Merit and PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from a tour card holder qualifier and three different regional qualifiers. David Chisnall (born 12 September 1980) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number twelve; he reached a peak ranking of world number five in 2017 and 2024. The PDC Order of Merit is a world ranking system used by one of the darts organisations, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Following the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship it superseded a world ranking system based on points being awarded for performances in ranking tournaments.
