Ubaye River - Hydrography

*The Ubaye River gives its name to the valley. The Ubaye rises on the Franco-Italian border, in Longet Lake, in the ''massif'' of Monte Viso. It runs from east to west for , before it flows into Serre-Ponçon Lake.
