This is a list of the largest steel-producing companies in the world mostly based on the list by the
World Steel Association World Steel Association, abbreviated as worldsteel, is the international industry association for the iron and steel sector. The association is one of the largest and most dynamic industry associations in the world, with members in every major s ...
. The list ranks steelmakers by volume of steel production in millions of tons over time and includes all steelmakers with production over 10 million in 2021. The World Steel Association features a list from its members every year. Due to mergers, year-to-year figures for some producers are not comparable. Not all steel is the same.
