The Harry Needle Railroad Company (HNRC) is a railway spot-hire company, based at Barrow Hill Engine Shed in Derbyshire. GB Railfreight (GBRf) is a rail freight company in the United Kingdom. As of 2022, it is owned by the global investment company M&G, Infracapital. GB Railfreight was established in April 1999 as the rail freight operating subsidiary of the train operating company GB Railways. Project Birch is the British government's bailout plan for companies during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of September 2020, only one company has qualified for help. Description The Treasury said that support would be given to "viable companies which have exhausted all options", whose failure would "disproportionately harm the economy".
