On August 31, 2012, during CMLL's weekly ''Super Viernes'' show Rey Escorpión teamed with his former ''Los Guerreros'' team mates to win a ''Cuadrangular de Tercias'' tournament, actually winning the tournament despite not getting along. Núñez is the father of a son who suffers from
